Tours Name: HHouixay-PakBeng-Oudomxay-Nam Bak-Luang Prabang-Xieng Khouang-Vientiane.
Duration: 11days/10 nights
Destination: Tour in HHouixay-PakBeng-Oudomxay-Nam Bak-Luang Prabang-Xieng Khouang-Vientiane.

Itinerary: 

DAY1:   Houixai – Pak Beng.

Arrive Houixai Border , meet and then embark the traditional boat on the Mekong river down to Pak Beng. On the way visit the villages along the river Ban Houilam Pen and Ban Pak Tha. Overnight Pak Beng.

 

DAY2:   Pak Beng - Oudomxai.

- Upon leaving PakBeng, the roads begin to deteriorate; however many villages on the hill sides and the undulating terrain make for an interesting journey. En route, there are some stop opportunities to visit the villages of : Hmong, Khmu, Tai Dam and Tai Lu . They are all friendly and interesting. Overnight Oudomxay.    

 

DAY3:   Oudomxay – Nong Khiaw.

- The local market also attracts a wide variety of ethnic minority groups including the Ikor, Taidam, Khmu and Hmong, all colorful and friendly. We visit this congregation before we set off on our journey to Nong Kiaw . Overnight in Nong Khiaw. 

 

DAY4:   Nong Khiaw- Luang Prabang.

- Today, we board a cruise down on the Nam Ou river, which will gives us a taste of adventure as well as an exciting visit to the holy Pak Ou caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various sizes and Ban Xang Hai, where villagers make local rice wine. In the late afternoon, we arrive in Luang Prabang which is perhaps the best preserved traditional city in South East Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. Overnight in Luang Prabang. 

 

DAY5:   Luang Prabang.

- After breakfast, we enjoy a full day guided tour exploring the city ‘s oldest temple and the magnificent wat XiengThong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple, we continue the visit of  the impressive stupa of wat Visoun, the shrine of wat Aham,and wat Mai . then climb up to the top of the Mont Phousi  for a beautiful sunset, the view of the city and the Mekong river as well as an enjoyable exploration of the sacred and oldest stupa. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

 

DAY6:   Luang Prabang – Water fall.

- Visit the National Museum at the former royal palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign, and the central market are not to be missed. Today, we visit these sights before taking a short drive to the cool waterfalls of Khuang Si. The water thumbing over multi tiered limestone formations into the cool and clear pool is ideal for anyone seeking an enjoyable escape when the heat becomes unbearable. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

 

DAY7:   Luang Prabang – Xieng Khouang.

Drive  to XiengKhouang 262 kms.  Visit on the way Tam Pra caves and Upon arrival,  visit the “Plain  of Jars” site1 , an impressive archeological site where hundreds of large stone jars are littered all over the plateau. Overnight in Phonsavannh. 

 

DAY8:   Xieng Khouang.

- Hearding out of town we travel by road to Muang Kham. The route passes though Ban Thachok where we have a chance to visit the Hmong Village . On arrival at Muong Kham we visit the caves of Marty and the hot spring. Overnight in Phonesavanh. 

 

DAY9:   Xieng Khouang – Vientiane.

Morning visit the old capital of MuangKhoune , visit wat Phiawat, ThatFun Stupa . Afternoon flight to Vientiane. Transfer to hotel .Overnight Vientiane.

 

Day10 : Vientiane   

City tour of Vientiane . Visit the oldest temple Wat Sisaket, the Museum Ho Prakeo, The National Monument ThatLuang Stupa and Arc of the Triumph . Afternoon visit the Buddha Park. Overnight Vientiane.

 

DAY11: Vientiane – Departure.

 - After breakfast, transfer to Wattay Airport or Friendship Bridge for departure.

-        Accommodation in TWN sharing room with Breakfast basis

-        Meals: Full board.

-        Transfers and transportation by A/c vehicles and , boat.

-        Excursion and sightseeing as per program

-        Entrance fee to the sites

-        English speaking guide .

-        Personal e xpenses such as: Telephone, laundry, Beverage, etc…

REMARK:  

·     Low season rate are effective from 01 April 2009 – 30 Sep 2009

·     High season rate are effective from 01 Oct 2009 – 30 Mar 2009

·     The price are not included Domestic Air ticket if the program is required, it is extra cost 

       for  USD75/pax.

·     The prices are not include Lunch and Dinner , since client may prefer different kind of

       cuisines….(Our Tour guide will recommend you to the good place ).

·     For child policies, 0-2years (infant) is complimentary for the package tours and 2-12

       years  (Child with no bed) will pay 50% of Adult fare and Child with bed will pay as

       Adult fare.

·     One Person Travel alone, Single Supplement must be applied since our package tours

       are based on Double/Twn sharing room.

·     All prices are net per person & in US Dollar.

·     Accommodation is based on twin sharing with breakfast only, except when the guests 

       stay at hotel grade 5* and 4* Reap,

·      Group of 15 Paying pax, 01 Tour Leader will be Free of Charge on sharing twin room

        basis.

·      The rates in column 1 (1 pax) are based in single room accommodation.

·      The rates include all transfers in private, air-conditioned vehicles.

·      The rates include private English, Thai speaking guide or Chinese Speaking Guide

·      The rates include boat fees & life jacket as scheduled in the program.

·      Picnic lunch is included in certain programs where regular restaurant is not available, as

        mentioned in the program.

·      The hotel check in 14:00 or 15:00pm and checks out at 12:00.
